What’s greater than knowing your investment is sustainable? When our donors #givetoCDC, they realize the investment they are making in our community and that their gift will last for years to come. Nearly all projects supported by CDC are capital in nature and multi generations of families can continue to enjoy that initial investment.

Reflecting on the last year and the tremendous support of our donors; we want to continue to give back. You have been generous and rallied together to help us accomplish our fundraising goal amidst a global pandemic. We are grateful to be part of such a giving community.

Normally, a celebration is met with many trophies and awards. We want to find a way to recognize our donors in an authentic way that means something to them and more to the community. It’s important for us to live up to our mission and enhance lives in Ashtabula County. Our mission is to continue to give back to the community and do so in sustainable fashion.

To celebrate Campaign 2020, our donors, our community and quality of life, CDC will be planting trees at Red Brook Metropark. Ashtabula County Metroparks has been so kind to allow CDC a dedicated area with native trees to celebrate our donors. A tree is both ecologically sound and supports sustainable practices. Not only will they beautify the area for years to come, but trees are vital for healthy living. We hope they will be treasured by our donors for a lifetime.

The trees will be planted this fall to give them an opportunity to root.

Save the date for Earth Day eve (Thursday, April 28, 2022), when we will hold our donor celebration and recognition, dedicating trees will to the top Campaign 2020 donors. Updates will follow as that time draws nearer.
