CDC Campaign 2025 Reaches 72% of $1.5 Million Goal
Ashtabula County, OH – The Civic Development Corporation (CDC) is excited to share a progress update on Campaign 2025: Embrace, the 14th capital campaign dedicated to the betterment of Ashtabula County. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we have reached 72% of our $1.5 million goal.
Campaign 2025 supports eight transformative projects across Ashtabula County. These projects are designed to be long-lasting, multi-generational investments that enhance our community’s quality of life by embracing families, children, seniors, recreation, and our county’s beautiful natural resources.
The selected projects and their funding goals include:
- Construction of Jefferson’s Inclusive Playground and Imagination Village at Memorial Field – $500,000
- Expansion of Ashtabula Arts Center – $400,000
- Marina Infrastructure Improvements with Conneaut Port Authority – $114,000
- Creation of a Community Outdoor Learning Lab with Ashtabula Area City Schools – $100,000
- Development of Four Pickleball Courts at Conneaut Township Park – $75,000
- Addition of a Pocket Park to the Redevelopment of Main Avenue in Ashtabula – $75,000
- New Fitness Equipment and Amenities at Ashtabula County Family YMCA, including indoor cycles, big kid trikes, wagons, a mini arcade basketball game, and a flexi projector – $55,000
- Improvements to Carraher Field and Geneva Little League, including new drainage, outfield dirt, and essential safety enhancements – $50,000
To help spread the grassroots mission of CDC and share the impact of these projects, a dedicated group of volunteer cabinet members is actively engaging the community. CDC is also releasing a series of impact videos on Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, connecting donors directly with the organizations they are supporting through Campaign 2025.
Additionally, CDC has been conducting employee campaigns, with A. Louis Supply Co. and MDR Employees leading the way as the first participants. These workplace giving programs offer businesses and employees a meaningful way to contribute to community-wide initiatives.
